I practice psychiatry and psychotherapy at Century Center in northeast Atlanta.

If you’re feeling upset, unfulfilled, or unhinged about life, I can help. Some of the common life situations for which people consult me include:

  • problems relating to people around you; feelings of isolation
  • difficulty adjusting to separation, loss, or other changes
  • having trouble getting things accomplished
  • mid-life or empty-nest issues

I can provide you with the support and skills to emerge from these challenges stronger, more resourceful, and more resilient.

  • grief that feels too deep or too prolonged
  • chronic negativity toward yourself or others

There can be a variety of reasons, not always obvious ones, for such complaints. As a medical doctor, I can help you determine that your symptoms are not the result of some other medical condition or of medications you may be taking. Then I can work with you to select and provide the right choice of therapy, medication, or both to meet your individual needs.

Or maybe you’ve recently moved or your doctor has moved away or retired. If you need care for an existing diagnosis or you’d like to get a second opinion, I can help you with that.

If I’m in session or out of the office when you call, just leave a message and I’ll call you back at my first opportunity.

My fee for a 50-60 minute appointment is $200 and $100 for 20-30 minute session.  First time appointments are at least 1 hour and follow up appointments are either 1/2 hr or 1 hr depending on the focus of the treatment. 

Please note I do not file insurance, but I can give you a medical receipt that you can submit for reimbursement.
